The annual output of aluminum profiles in China in 2022 is 20.11 million tons, down 3.86% year-on-year. The main reason is that the output of building profiles, which account for nearly 2/3, has fallen sharply. Although industrial profiles have maintained growth, it is difficult to resist the substantial reduction in the construction sector. Photovoltaic aluminum frame belongs to mid-to-high-end industrial aluminum profiles with higher precision requirements.
In 2022, the national aluminum frame output will be 1.38 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 48.6%. It is expected to maintain an annual growth rate of more than 20% in the next five years.
Under the background of the high prosperity of the new energy industry, not only industrial profile companies have been put into production with new production capacity, but a large number of construction profile companies have also sought to transform and deploy industrial profiles during the cold winter of real estate, especially for photovoltaic and automobiles. Aluminum frame production capacity is relatively sufficient.
Photovoltaic brackets are mainly steel brackets and aluminum alloy brackets. Most of them are steel brackets for centralized installations, which are galvanized. Aluminum brackets are mainly used in distributed installations, and their processing accuracy is lower than that of aluminum frames. In 2022, the national output of aluminum brackets will be 394,000 tons, an increase of 91% year-on-year.
