US Imposes Tariffs on Chinese Photovoltaic Panels

On May 14th, the United States released the results of a four-year review of the Section 301 tariffs imposed on China, announcing further increases in tariffs on imports from China, including electric vehicles, lithium batteries, and solar panels, on top of the existing tariffs. 

However, no tariffs will be imposed on equipment used in the production of these products, aiming to encourage localization of production.
