Recently, the prices of photovoltaic solar panel in China have continued to show a slight downward trend. However, as prices keep hitting new lows, the wait-and-see sentiment among some buyers has begun to ease.
For instance, the prices of top-tier N-type TOPCon solar panels have dropped to 0.1-0.114 USD per watt, while the prices for P-type PERC solar panels range from 0.1 to 0.106 USD per watt.
However, some leading companies have halted production lines for P-type solar panels. Additionally, their product inventories are low, so they have suspended significant price reductions. Currently, the price for these modules is around 0.11 USD per watt.
In contrast, the prices of P-type solar panels from second- and third-tier small brands are relatively lower. Some of their products have dropped below 0.096 USD per watt, reaching the range of 0.083 USD per watt.
Additionally, there have been no price changes for HJT solar panels this week, remaining between 0.117-0.131 USD per watt. The prices for BC solar panels have slightly decreased, with ABC modules priced at 0.121-0.129 USD per watt, and HPBC modules priced between 0.114-0.117 USD per watt. All prices are exclusive of shipping costs.
On the supply side, most factories have reduced production this week. It is reported that the operating rates of some leading companies have even dropped to around 50%.
On the demand side, due to the continuous decline in solar panel prices from major manufacturers, while some buyers are still taking a wait-and-see approach, many believe that prices may be nearing the bottom and are starting to consider making purchases soon.
