In Brazil, InterSolar South America，the Sao Paulo International Solar Energy Expo is Held as Scheduled

Recently, the 2023 InterSolar South America International Solar Energy Expo was grandly held at the Norte Expo Center in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Brazil is one of the few countries in the world with more than 3,000 hours of sunshine per year. In the context of energy transformation, thanks to the advantages of light resources, favorable renewable energy policies and market demand, local photovoltaic installed capacity is rising day by day. According to the latest data from Brazil's energy regulator, Brazil's installed solar capacity has reached 30GW, of which about 15GW has been deployed in the past 17 months. In addition, 21GW of the total installed capacity comes from distributed photovoltaics. It is also reported that in the first five months of 2023, of the approximately 4.39GW of new photovoltaic power generation capacity deployed by Brazilian developers, 3.1GW came from distributed power generation systems operating under the country's net metering plan, which shows that the local photovoltaic market has a bright future.

The vast land area and abundant lighting resources provide broad development space for the Brazilian photovoltaic market. Brazil is the fourth largest photovoltaic market in the world and the second largest exporter of Chinese photovoltaic modules. According to statistics from BloombergNEF, a well-known analysis organization, Brazil's installed capacity will reach 14.2GW in 2022, second only to China, the United States and India. Stimulated by government policies, Brazil's distributed business scale has grown rapidly, supporting the booming development of the solar energy industry.
