The cost of solar panel raw material is going up

The cost of solar panel raw material is going up in this month .

1、The cost of silicon raw material be increased 36%;

2、The cost of wafe from USD0.37 TO USD0.39 per pc, Be increased 4%;

3, The cost of silver from USD528 rised up to USD870, So the cost of silver paste be inceased 25%;

4、The cost of solar cell from USD0.11 be rised to USD0.12/watt, be increased 11%;

5、The cost of solar glass from USD3.42/sqm to USD3.72/ sqm , be increased 8.3%;

6、The POE and EVA is going up;

7、Backsheet is going up since the PET is increased USD0.07 per sqm;

8、The cost of noforrus material is going up , the cost of soldering wire and aluminum framer is going up . 

The main reasons why the price of raw materials for solar panels have increased so much recently are as follows:

1. Fire and explosion in the two Chinese major silicon material plants;

2. Virus influences to restrict the sending of silicon materials;

3. The China 26 GW bidding project will be launched together;

4. China large-scale power investment companies collectively fight for purchase.
